Science and Humanities Alliance

The Business and Education Alliance's (formerly the Somerset/Hunterdon Business and Education Partnership) flagship program, called the Science Alliance launched in 1991 with a grant from the National Science Foundation. The Humanities Alliance followed in 1996 to create what is now known as the Science and Humanities Alliance. This program pairs teachers with scientists, artists, pharmacists, doctors, engineers, etc. to collaborate on the creation of teaching modules that infuse their expertise and professional experiences into real concepts that better prepare students for the ever-changing workplace.

Since the inception of this program over 300 consumer-oriented, classroom-tested modules that engaged and excite by placing academics in the context of everyday life have been created and used.

The Business and Education Alliance is a Registered NJDOE Professional Development Provider. Modules are available for a nominal charge from the Alliance Office.
